I am a college student in my winter break just looking to kill 2.5 weeks before school starts again. Never worked before and in another state from my university. Is it possible to get a job at this time for such a short period of time? If I were to apply at a retail store or fast food restaurant, can I work for a few weeks and then quit and still get paid?
Looking for a 2-3 week Winter Break job and have questions?
Go shovel snow. can get 5-15 dollars. Think about it. 30 minutes to shovel 1 driveway. Thats like 30 bucks per hour
Reply:If you're a student your issues can be many and varied, from Deciding upon your career track to hunting for a part time job. The website in the box below has a lot of guidance for students, and they have things concerning job searching in addition.
Reply:Go call/ask around and see if anyone has holiday work, they hire just for what you're looking for and no worries about 'quitting'.
Many places are still hiring, but really this is the last week! Retail or even a server at a restaurant would be ideal.
Reply:It may be best to go from place to place with your resume. Good luck with your studies!
