Looking for a job, i turn 16 in Jan?

Hello , i am turning 16 in january and really want a job, i will still be at school so work will be weekend and evenings . I know most work at 16 is labour, like working in a shop . But i want to be like a junior receptionist or something like that, ideally i want to answer phones or something office like . for the time been anyway. i live in leeds , does anyone know if there is any way you can get this type of work at 16 ? x

just look in the news paper for things that say "entry level". look for office jobs and call even if it doesn't say it on the add. ask them if they have any entry level jobs if they're looking for part time help. if they say they'll call back and don't for a day or two call them! employers like persistence. that tells them you're on top of your game.

I honestly don't think there are jobs like you want at the age of 16.
