I am looking for a data entry job to work from home. Do anyone have any suggestion that are not scams?

yes you need to go to http://www.squidoo.com/typingathome/ thats where I found the best information. Honestly they have great programs to choose from and a huge list of scams. If you really are interested in working from home start there.
I am looking for a data entry job to work from home. Do anyone have any suggestion that are not scams?
Not much data entry in food service!
Reply:check out my blog!!

http://extramula.blogspot.com/

This is a GREAT work from home opportunity!! It's Free sign up you will never be out of pocket with anything!!
Reply:There are so many online job offers on Internet but 99% of them are scam!

Before you join any work from home company, please check out the scam reports in my profile. I have put together some articles and guidelines to help you determine if a work from home opportunity is a scam or not.
Reply:Take a look at manually submitting websites to search engines. It is data entry, very boring work, but anyone who has a website wants to get high rankings on search engines. So they need to submit their website(s). There are approximately over 400 search engine directories. One company charges over $300 to do this and they give a time frame of 3 MONTHS! Most people only take about 10-15 hours to do this. Research it on the web. It is known as SEO, search engine optimization.
Reply:Question is...would you trust suggestions from here claiming they're not scams?

Please realise that scams are anywhere...everywhere.

Good luck in your search though.
Reply:your best bet is finding someone local. its hard to weed thru the scams.

Im looking for a first job , should i go for nordstroms or a restaurant host/waitress?

which is a better first job and does anyone know the salarys
Im looking for a first job , should i go for nordstroms or a restaurant host/waitress?
The food industry is rough and I was never good at it. Nordy's offers an employee discount and you shouldn't come out of there smelling funky. Unless it's for the Nordstrom's Cafe, that's the food industry and the same as any other eatery.

Someone mentioned minimum wage but, at least in CA, Nordy's generally will start you a little higher. Not to mention, commission. Then again, the restaurant business (assuming it's not fast food) can include tips but these are taxable and the salary may be less because of them.
Reply:it depends on what experience you have at things but being a waitress at the right restraunt you can make good money. but the hourly pay is usually always 2.13
Reply:Both will pay about minimum wage. You can earn tips by waitressing, but in some states your wages can be adjusted because of tips. Waitressing is hard work too. Depending on what you would be doing, retail might be a good choice. It just depends on what interests you.
Reply:Um...i would have to say a restaurant host/waitress...because i think that it would be fun...but you don't have to take my advice.

How can new immigrants look for a job sucessfully?

My cousins just immigrated to CA three months ago and they are trying to look for a decent hourly pay job. They know how to speak Chinese, however, one of them understands a bit of English.

Where are the best places to apply for a job if they are also going to a local community college to learn English?

Can they apply for a position in stock and learn their way up at a huge superstore like Macy's, Costco, Bloomindale's,etc...? Any suggestions?
How can new immigrants look for a job sucessfully?
One suggestion, I am sure there are many good ideas. Check with the community college. They often have career centers as well as English as a Second Language programs. I just read a job advertisement from a community college for a job coach to help individuals who have immigrated to find a job. I would call ahead and see what they have to offer, or look on line. Perhaps you or someone familiar with your community could go along for encouragement. Be persistent, sometimes one department isn't certain what another department is offering. I would start with the ESL Teacher, they usually have a wealth of information. People who live in a community have access to public community colleges so they can use the library to look at local newspapers or do a job search on line. In my state the community colleges also work with and often house the Workforce Investment Solutions or the Department of Employment Services. Good luck to your cousins.
Reply:As they learn more English, they could apply for a job at McDonalds. There are a limited number of English phrases that they would have to learn there, and then they'd get to interact with lots of people and practice their English all the time, all day long.
Reply:I think a lot of money can be made on the Internet.

Recently, I joined on CashCrate and filled some given free offers and its going very well. There are no fees to join, it is absolutely free.

http://www.*************/index.php?ref=1...

This may not appeal much, but for every person you refer, you get 20% of their earning. And 10% of earnings from that your referrals refer to CashCrate.

It takes little time to build up a great number of referrals essential to make lot of money; slowly.....this could be a great source of money generation. And the best part is that other people are in a sense, working for you.

As it is true for any other business patience and hard-work are essential ingredients for success of this business too. The good part is that you start earning from day one. The income is incremental it starts slow but goes on multiplying as you work further.

There are many 鈥榳ork at home鈥?program available on internet but most of them require you to pay first hand to join the program. Most of them are tricky because if they were making that much money, they wouldn't need to charge you.

I am not advocating this site, but simply showing you the way which I have tested.

Looking for a job in zoology?

i love animals, and learning about animals, mostly mammals and birds, i was wondering what a possible job in zoology could be.

What is the average pay per year and what are some good schools to go to for a good career as a zoologist

i would love a job where i can research and work with animals but not exactly a worker t a zoo
Looking for a job in zoology?
The average pay is around $60,000. But, since I took extra years I get around $80,000 dollars a year.

Instructions (for becoming a good Zoologist):

Step1

Study hard. In order to become a zoologist, you鈥檒l need a strong background in biology, so this is not the field for those who don鈥檛 like math or science. There are very few schools where you can major in zoology specifically, so don鈥檛 worry if this is not offered at the college of your choice. A degree in general biology or any other life science will be good preparation for an advanced degree in a more specialized field. Undergraduate grades and recommendations are paramount to getting accepted to a good graduate school program.

Step2

Get an advanced degree. Yes, most likely in order to get a good job in zoology you will need a masters degree or even a PhD. It does not have to be in zoology necessarily. Choose a specialty related to the area in which you would like to work. For example, if you hope to work in an aquarium, marine biology is probably your best bet.

Step3

Stand out. If you're looking for a job at a high-profile zoo or museum, be aware that these positions can be difficult to come by. You will give yourself a leg up if you gain strong recommendations and work experience through internships or research fellowships. You will want to ask about these opportunities as soon as you begin your degree program, or even the summer before your start school.

Step4

Don't be squeamish. If you are, you will never make it through school and you certainly will not like your job. Zoology is a very hands-on field and working with animals can get dirty, whether you鈥檙e cutting raw meat to feed to tigers or simply preparing specimens in a research lab. This job is not for those that lack strong stomachs.

Step5

Be committed. Oftentimes zoologists, even those who work in offices as opposed to in the field, have to work unusual or extra hours due to the nature of their employment. Research waits for no one, and neither does a hungry elephant. If you鈥檙e looking for the standard 9 to 5, this career field may not be for you.

Step6

Communicate well. Most zoologists will have to speak to the public or write up lengthy papers documenting their research findings. Many will also teach classes or seminars. Good verbal and written communication skills are essential for being successful, especially as you advance in your career.
Reply:Sugestions for schools:

University of Southern Mississippi for Zoology and Marine Biology.

LSU for Vet Zoology

Arkansas A%26amp;M for Wildlife Biology

I am looking for a Federal Job and I am a convicted felon. I was convicted 5 yrs ago of financial ID fraud.?
to be honest, in order for you to get a federal job, you cannot be arrested. all agencies do a background check, and one of the things they look for is an arrest history (another thing they look for is a good credit history).

you can try to apply at www.usajobs.opm.gov, but I don't think they will give it to you

Looking for a Job, any hiring in NYC?

I've been looking for a job and yes I just started college so now I need a job, is there any job openings or somewhere I could apply... (no fast food restaurants)...

I'm desperately looking for a job =(
Looking for a Job, any hiring in NYC?
Try some of the shops in Soho or other high-end retail areas. They usually need extra help in the months from Oct to Jan for the holiday shopping season. A lot of them can work with your schedule. Ask if they pay on a base plus commission basis. Fill out applications everywhere. Eventually something will come back to you.
Reply:Since you're in college, have you found out if you're eligible for work-study? Try there, other then that, consult you schools employment and student life offices, they might be able to help you.

Looking for a job?
Crack open the classifieds. At 17 you should be able to work in most retail places, or fast food, anywhere they don't sell booze. Look at the jobs for office clerks or filing if you want to be in an office environment.

Any tips???, I am planning to go tomorrow to get a job application, but Should I talk with the manager and say that I'm very interested to work there??

I NEED HELP!!!!!!!
Looking for a job at bebe store....?
Go in dressed for the interview- NOT jeans! Ask to speak to the manager, mention how you are familiar with the store's products. That you are really interested in growing with the company and you do not mind starting at the bottom and working your way up to a more permanent position.

I just moved to vegas and looking for a job is hard? what should i do to improve my chances of getting a job?
Cut your hair, shave, shower, get a good suit and come in with your resume. BE PREPARED!
Reply:This may not be what you want to hear but this is true. Don't go down there without a sure job already lined up. Vegas is a trap. The glamour and allure offer a false sense of prosperity. Vegas is attracting all types of people from all over the world, most of which think they can just get a job there. Plus you want to make sure you can find one that can pay the bills. It is senseless to work all day to still be broke and still have the bill collectors calling, when you bypass it all with a little planning.

i am willing to do anything..... can anyone help me with any ideas?
Looking for a job in calgary!! fast!! one that would help with accomodations? i have hospitality experience?
Are you a Canadian citizen? Living in Calgary or the vicinity? Then you need to go to all the hotels and restaurants in the vicinity, appropriately attired, and apply for jobs you are qualified for. Also research all the ski resorts, etc. and submit your resume and/or application for the winter ski season. Some resorts might still have dorm accommodations or staff rooms for employees, but it is being quite rare for anyone to provide staff accommodations -- it got too expensive.
Reply:Try applying to the hotels in your area for guest services, room service, room attendant, server etc. You could also try applying in hospitals or nursing homes as a dietary aide or a nutritional services assistant which is someone that helps in the kitchen to prepare snacks for the patients, who assist in the lunch, or dinner tray line such as putting on milk or juice on the tray which is something that I used to do. Good luck!
Reply:lots of security guard positions in Calgary. that's how most people who are new to the city start off. since you're in hospitality, try all the restaurants and pubs on 17th avenue.

I'm looking for a job in UK but I'm a high school dropout?

I didnt finished high school and I am not going back there. never. so I'm looking for some job but I cant find anything or they wont accept me.

I was thinking military or a security guard but thats the problem. I am shy, I was bullyied in every school I went to. through whole my life I was seeing those therapists to help me and make me more bold, but there wasnt any progress at all. I'm naturally shy.

so then I could work in some store but I dont want to work with customers everyday cause I'm shy. I have got no idea what to say, I even shop online or I tell my mate to shop for me.

I dont wanna go back to school cause they always judge about how silent I am, even teachers. and I dont want to study cause I'm not that smart. I can learn some things but not much. everyone isnt a perfect A student. and dont look at the avatar, I'm not that pretty eitha, so being a model or something like that wouldnt be an option.
I'm looking for a job in UK but I'm a high school dropout?
If you really want to do a job you enjoy, then you have to go back and get your G.E.D, If you pass that, your done with high school.... No need to go back 5 hours a day.... Just try the test... if not w.e with the G.E.D more windows... If you like kids... Day care.... If you like Sports..... Then slowly become a Personal trainer... if you like music, Part time at a record store and they would hire... Just think about what you like, and see how you can make money off that idea....
Reply:child care ? Speaking with children is nothing like trying to communicate with adults and you won't be out in the big wild work world as much.

Take a nanny course, its not like school.
Reply:Does the UK have anything like the GED that the US has? That's a test that gives you the equivalent of a high school diploma. There are study guides for it that you can buy, and preparation classes that would be adults so you wouldn't run into the same thing as you did in school,

If the UK has something like that, give it a try. Without a high school diploma, you'll have a tough time all your life getting a job that pays decently.

Good luck.
Reply:You sound like you would be perfect for a factory job. Loud environments make it tough to talk and you deal with few people while doing simple mundane tasks.
Reply:Get your GED. You can only get a job in a restuarant. Their the only ones who will hire somebody who doesnt have a HS diploma. Or try getting a job working the farm.

It is difficult to find a job in the mall without prior experience. Maybe get a job out of retail first and then once you have work experience try again. I know it sucks. My friend is 16 too and has applied to about 11 places and still can't get a job.

Advice? Don't look for answers in a website. End of story.

Check your paper--some organizations advertise stay-at-home jobs in there. Be care there and research: a true stay-at-home job will be able to give you W2s as well as not cost you anything to start up.

My research I did a few months ago pretty much came out that the best way to get a corporate job at home, is to approach corporations with your plan, and see if they would be willing for you to work afar.

My company is toying with as we are all ready set up to work remote. We all have laptops and VPN's set up, so I can work from home, but actually what the company wants is us working on site all day, and then off site all night. I pretty much only use it when the weather gets bad, or kid is sick.

I have heard of some starting with an ebay business off hours that sometimes turns into a full time job.

Since it is illegal for telemarketers to call you at home now days they started paying people for there opinion. On this site you will get paid to accept offers or fill out surveys. I usually stick to the .50 offers and I am making on average $400-$500 a month and only been doing it for 2 months. I also was able to get a new car through one of the offers they had. I got accepted for a loan and went out and traded my 02 Intrepid for an 06 Chevy HHR. What do you have to lose? Just try it out and I am sure after that you will be addicted to it.

Oh and just as a reminder this is all FREE. Personally I would recommend getting a new e-mail through yahoo to do this and also you can go to www.privatephone.com to get a legit phone number online. This way you don鈥檛 have telemarketers bugging you all the time. Thanks and have a great day..

I am looking for some information on stay at home jobs. REAL JOBS AND REAL MONEY ONLY....?

Reason for this question is that I have recently had 3 seizures at the age of 36 for no reason according to all the doctors and tests. I can no longer drive for at least 6 months and I am looking to make a few dollars to pay my bills.

If you can find some companies give out work like typing, data entry that kind of works, then you can stay home and do it and earn some money, however, it won't be much.

I am looking for additional income without getting a second job.?

I am a sub contractor with Fed Ex Ground, and I have had to take a pay cut because of an ownership change. I am married and have four kids, my wife works as well and has her own business. She ran the business from home, but lost a huge contract. We lost our house and had to downsize into an apartment. Needless to say, the stress is tremendous on both of us. I have looked into turnkey business opportunities like vending, but it will be hard to get a loan without assets. Any suggestions?

I am looking for a job in vietnam?

i am a vietnamese living overseas, came to canada at very young age. i am currently employed. i am 30+ years old. i want to seek employment with any prospective company weather is currently doing bisiness or want to expand biz into vietnam. what is the best way for me to seek such company?. Your respond to my question is greatly appriciated!!
I am looking for a job in vietnam?
The best place to look for job in Vietnam online is:

http://vietnamworks.com

I would also watch the news for companies expanding into Vietnam and then contact their HR department for possible positions available.

Good luck!
Reply:It depends on your qualifications. There are many companies starting to do business in Vietnam, especially near Hanoi. There are several new business parks with some high tech companies. Do a search for Vietnam business parks, and look at the (new) businesses there. Go to their web sites and look under careers or job openings to see if they have anything suitable. Good luck.

I'm looking for a work at home job. Does anyone work from home? Can anyone give me any sugestions?

I currently work for chacha. You can make between $4 and $6 an hour. No phone work and you don't keep set hours.
I'm looking for a work at home job. Does anyone work from home? Can anyone give me any sugestions?
I work from home as a freelance writer. I`d suggest starting your own business, as opposed to falling for a scam . . . they are pretty prevalent!

Basically, you need to decide what you are interested in, determine if there is a need for it and then decide how you can turn it into a business. It takes time and dedication to work from home, but you can do it. :)

I would suggest reading up as much as possible on working from home and starting a small, home based business.
Reply:I work from home, but I don't have a "home Job" I have a home based business in the telecommunications industry. When I did my search for home jobs, the only thing they pay is minimum wage. I was thinking after taxes are taken out, my take home would be below minimum wage. Not a sufficient amount of income. If this is a sufficient amount of income for you, then you should take a look at this article that was written that gives a lot of helpful hints to home based jobs. It also has a couple companies in which you can apply for if you qualify for the poistions.
Reply:You should have a read of the articles on this website, it will help you with the searching and also how to avoid scams but you're unlikely to get the names of any genuine companies in the replies here as there is no shortage of people looking to do work at home and data entry jobs.
Reply:Yes, I am working from home since last 3 years and I just wanted to share you my experience which can help you.

When I started to make money online, (luckily) I had no money to buy any online packages. I joined with few get paid websites like myfreeshares, 4daily, 12daily and other survey websites. After few months of my hard work, I slowly started to get payments from few companies. It made me happy and gave encouragement to turn my career into online work at home.

Sadly 12daily, 4daily and studiotraffic websites became scam oneday and I lost 50% of my earning.

But still I believed I can make money from internet. Data entry jobs seems good opportunity to me. I tried many of them; but found none of them to be useful.

One fine day, I came across an article at work-from-home-directory.com which changed my career entirely. It gave me an idea how to get data entry jobs from webmasters. I am really thankful for that article.

As per the article guidelines,I joined few webmaster forums and got few data entry works from webmasters. One of them is a very genuine client for me till to date. He owns a network of websites and he needs constant data entry/ data mining works for his websites.

For 4 hours work per day, I am getting around $500 per month from this client alone. This is really enough for me.

Link to the article is given below. I hope it will change your career too.
Reply:There are a lot of different types of work at home job. I have a business and run it out of my home, as well as several of my friends. I also have friends who work out of their home for someone else and have a home based job. From my experience, as well as seeing other people working from home, my suggestion is to look at home based business, choose one and you can work your job in your business from home. The income opportunity is higher then home based jobs. There's an article I suggest you should read that gives information on both. You can decide for yourself which type of home job would be more feasible for you. If you choose a home job, there are a couple places in which if your qualified for you can apply for one of the positions.

Good luck to you.
Reply:The work from home jobs that aren't scams actually require work on your part - and if you're in need of money soon then you're likely to be sorely disappointed in any of those as well. Most of the legit opportunities out there take time to build - so if someone makes an outrageous claim of income it probably isn't true ( and those that are true sure didn't make that kind of money when they first began ).

http://my-data-entry.blogspot.com/

Time %26amp; effort required - but do your own research on what is best for you, don't take the advice of myself and others as gospel from this type of public website.

http://working-from-home-ireland.blogspo...

I have other ideas that may help - one of them is an online opportunity but another is one that will require a little effort to market yourself - try some data entry for local businesses, many of them don't have the time to do it in-house and will gladly pay someone else to do it. Professionals are a good place to start, lawyers, doctors, chiropractors, etc - they need their "in-house" folks doing other things rather than busy work.

Reply:I know a lot about this topic, I have a lot of good info for you. Many people are looking for work from home companies. All the scams definitely create a big problem but also, there is a problem of people misunderstanding the difference between work from home "jobs" and work from home opportunities. There really is no such thing as a work from home “job”. To get that you have to start working for a company in their offices first, then they MAY allow you to take the job home and that’s only if you have special training such as in Website design, being an Attorney, Bookkeeper and the like.

Most of the work from home opportunities that are legitimate offers are not an hourly pay type job. They are business opportunities that help you in starting your own business from your home.

What you should do first is to decide if you are simply looking for an hourly rate type job or if you are looking for more of an opportunity for additional income such as what you would make in your own business being your own boss from home. Many say a JOB stands for Just Over Broke and I have found that to be true as well. I never got anywhere working for others.

Small home businesses have some small costs involved, less then $100 to start is reasonable and I would stay away from those wanting $300, $500 even some asking for $1000. It doesn’t cost that much to start and run a home business so you shouldn’t pay it. The real ones will have a small monthly overhead as well. Should be around $50 a month but no more then $75. And everything should be included from your web sites to training and team support to back office accounting and booking. It’s ok to pay this overhead because it’s a business, they cost money. It’s not reasonable to assume you can run a business from home with a website and more for free so do keep that in mind as you search.

If you are coming across places that say free then I would RUN don’t walk the other way! They never are. I tried them many a times and 3 weeks later I had to buy this and 6 weeks later that. After 6 months these “free businesses” had cost me over $800 on average.

I’m a stay at home wife and a licensed nurse here in the state of California. I work about 22-28 hours per week for a National Medical Benefits Company. This is a home business, a nationally known and reputable home business which is what you need to make sure you are looking for. I have been with the company for one year now and I make over $2000 a month! In your first month, depending on how many hours you can work I have seen people make anywhere from $300 to over $2000. And your income will increase each month because we get paid residual income as well. If I continue on as I am going at the end of the year I will be making $5000 a month. My friend Rebecca from Hales Corners, Wisconsin started 2 years before me and she is now making $45,000 a year with her home business; $25,000 of that is residual income.

The best part is they have 401(k), direct deposit and a benefits package. In addition, there are no products, no hard selling or pushing, no cold calling, no home parties and no telemarketing! That was VERY important to me.

I absolutely love working with them and I can't believe I am making what I am making and in so few hours per week. The neat thing is there are other people on your team that you work with so you are never alone. You have great team support and you get to know the other people on your team pretty well. The support is great but I have made wonderful friends as well. I think that’s important too, especially being at home!

I was a bit apprehensive at first because I know a lot of companies are not legit but this company is the number one National Medical Benefits Company in the US. They are a member of the US Chamber of Commerce, The Consumer Health Alliance and the National Association of Dental Plans which is very impressive. Also they were featured in “The New York Times”, “Wall Street Journal” “Time Magazine” and the “American Medical Review” and the May issue of Parents Magazine. Even “60 Minutes” with Morley Safer did a big special on this home based business.

Even more then all this is they are accepted at over 100,000 retailers nation wide. These are fortune 500 companies like Sears, Target, Walgreens, CVS, Wal-mart, Publix and more. These companies would never work with a company that was any thing less then reputable. That made me feel very good about working with them knowing they were accepted at these stores that I frequent. Also now of course being with them I get the dental and vision benefits for free and I saved over $650 on my last visit to have labratory work done. That’s just a beautiful perk! : - )

When I first started I just felt very safe with them, that and my friend was already making so much money with Ameriplan. But at this point I feel a sense of security financially that our family has never had before. That plus LOVING what you do? What could be better?

Check them out! Just type in www.Telecommute2008.com in your web browser.

I am looking for corporate job openings with no experience needed.?

a job that will pay me $20 an hour- no experience needed-

no highschool or ged diploma. I would like a job in clerical work. I do have a high school diploma.
I am looking for corporate job openings with no experience needed.?
I'm sorry to break this to you, but in order to get $20 an hour you have to have experience to get $20. A lot of places that do clerical work want people with experience with the computer and can type certain words a minute besides answering the phone. look around.
Reply:A clerical job with no experience and only a high school degree will start at $8-$12 an hour depending on where you live. You don't have any special skills that someone will pay more for. You might also apply for civil service jobs as they offer benefits and often have opportunities for on the job training. My son with a BA degree, corporate work experience every summer, and top notch computer skills is not being offered $20 an hour. That's over $40,000 a year. If you can get an apprenticeship position in a trade like plumbing or sheet metal work, you can eventually make some good money without a college degree.
Reply:I can't even find a job that pays that much and I have a bachelor's degree so if you find one let me know.

I'm looking for any job ideas from stay at home moms who make money from home.?

1) What kind of business are you wanting you to have? Establish that first.

2) Also realize that being a stay-at-home with an at-home business doesn't mean you'll get to spend more time with the kids. You still have a job, meaning if you're on the phone or have something important to do NOW, you can't just put it off because your kid is sick.

3) Find a program NOT ON THE INTERNET. Sometimes businesses will offer part-time jobs at home, calling business or people.

Reply:Hi there!

I have recently started an online business and would like to share some of my experiences with you.

Before you start, think what product / service is of interest to you. Just because someone claims a particular business is lucrative, does not mean that its ideal for you. For eg. if you do not like or believe in the products / services of the business you are planning to start, you will never be happy working on that business.

At the same time, I would like to give you a word of advice. When I started my search for an online business, in the initial few weeks i was very cynical of every opportunity that came my way... I doubted everything because every business said they were the best!!! But then i realised that to move forward and select a business... its good to be skeptical but NOT cynical. Being cynical will never take you even a step forward. You need to be open to listening to different ideas and different opportunities and then use your due diligence in deciding which is the best option for you and then make your informed decision about it. Never let anyone sway you into making a decision... always make sure that you are the one who has actively decided into getting into the business.

Also, never pay a cent for beginners kit / information pack before you have joined a business. If the business is legitimate, they will not ask you for any payment before you have decided to join and they will always offer all information / support and help for FREE.

Another point I would like to highlight while we are speaking about payments is the difference between online jobs / and business opportunities.

You need to decide if you want an online JOB where you are working for someone else who send out your pay to you OR an online BUSINESS which is your own business.

Again, if its a job, I would say a legitimate employer should never ask for any money from you before or even after joining the company.

On the other hand, if its a business that you are starting, and you are convinced about the product, business model and you future, you must be prepared to treat this as a professional business and understand that there will be start up costs. How much you are willing to spend of course, depends entirely on your decision / and how much you are convinced about the business.

And finally, working on an online business means that you will be working from home in most cases. So be prepared to set your own times but have the determination to stick to it. It is very easy to get swayed and become lax and put off things till "tomorrow". Don't fall into that trap. Have a mind set that this is a professional business and treat it as such. Think what you would expect of an employee working in your firm and have similar expectations from yourself... because... aren't you your own employee???

Hope this helps. If you have any further questions, please feel free to mail me at namita@leverage4success.com Also, let me know if you need details about my own business. I will be more than glad to help you out!

All the best with your venture!

Regards,

Namz

What is the best way to look for a job in the year, 2007?

I know that it sometimes depends on what type of job you are looking for. But it seems like most job listings are on the internet now and there is no direct contact between the employer and the person seeking work anymore. Employers don't like you to call them directly nor do that like walk-ins. Is it true everything is on the internet now? This is a cold way of doing business and sometimes you have to apply indirectly for work through a third party. This seems to be time consuming and a total waste of time. Employers don't list in actual newspapers anymore and I hate networking.

I'm looking for a work at home job assembling products, are there any legit companies out there?

I have been looking for the right work at home job for years. I've invested allot of money and they all have been too good to be true or too difficult to assemble or require too much money up front. But before joining a paid survey network, you should be sure that the paid survey company satisfies the following minimum requirements:

1. In business for at least 1 year.

2. Well organized, easy to navigate directories.

3. Directories updated at least weekly.

4. Helpful resources available for newcomers.

5. No "waiting period". Eligible immediately..

I am looking for a job in western Europe.?

I am from Bulgaria. My age is 54.Can you help me to find a job?Maybe something in tourism or else?I know English,Russian,Czech,Polish and Bulgarian languages.
I am looking for a job in western Europe.?
Dear Sad Lady,

You are an EU Citizen so you could theoretically work in any EU state, PROVIDED your employer applies for and gets you a llocal workpermit, which he can get based on the need of your specific qualifications like languages and skills.

Sorry, but your age may be an obstacle - I myself am older than you and in the west anybody over 40 is out of the job market unless you have special qualifications.

I would start to look in BG and talk to Bulgarian (Balkan ?) Airlines, or Bulgarian Min for Tourism and try to get an expat job posting.

To come to W Europe without languages and/or qualifications means usually menial jobs, which are not for a lady of your age.

You may contact me on certusnova@yahoo.com for direct advice.

I am visiting Sofia regularly and we could discuss this if you want.

What's the job title for person looking for cures/prevention of disease?

If you were interested in finding future cures for disease, you would want to get into medical or scientific research.

On the other hand, if you wanted to work with patients in preventing disease on a daily basis, you could become a family medicine physician or specialize in preventive medicine.

Hope this helps....

I am 14 and looking for a summer job...?

I am looking for a summer job. I just want to work like 4-5 days a week during the day... I am 14 and want a real job at a fast food restaurant or something. Can anyone think of any good businesses that I can apply to?
I am 14 and looking for a summer job...?
i think you have to be 16 to work in a public restaurant or something, but you can work at camp or baby-sit! good luck!
Reply:you could try to get an application for working at your local pool (working front desk, cleaning, concessions, etc..) but the one that i live close to applications were due in march. you could work somewhere like a fast food place, just ask for an application. you could probably also buss tables at a restaurant. you could see if someone needs you to babysit sometime.

good luck.
Reply:At forteen it wont get you alot of places. But you could ask the fast-foods restraunts or somthing were you live. Also when you go to apply, show them one of your really good report cards. One place you can work at forteen is Sweet%26amp;Sassy.
Reply:Be smart and look at your child labor laws in your state. Most employers want you to be 16 or older.

I took an early retirement from a job i held for 20 yrs and have been looking for another ,can i get unemploym
Unemployment benefits are given only to those registering as unemployed, and often on conditions ensuring that they seek work and do not currently have a job.

Hence , you are not eligible for the same please !!!
Reply:no

you are voluntarily unemployed
Reply:You can always file for UI; whether or not your claim will be approved depends on the circumstances under which you left. For example, were you asked to take early retirement, or did you volunteer to leave? Did you receive severance payment in a lump sum, or are you still on payroll in a retirment classification, or are you receiving an annuity (fixed payment for a period of time?

If you quit voluntarily for any reason, including an early retirement, it is doubtful that a UI claim will be approved. If you were forced to leave, a claim could be approved. The only way to know for sure will be to file a claim and find out. If the claim is denied, you do have the right to appeal that decision, but you will need to present compelling evidence as to why you needed to leave your job (looking for a better job is not considered to be a valid reason.)

Good luck.
Reply:The worst that can happen if you file, is they turn you down.
Reply:no, if you resign you cannot collect
Reply:...I do not think you can get unemployment if you left a job intentionally, and retirement is intentional, But I would inquire with the State and make sure

Reply:Bagger at a local grocery store
Reply:Just from personal experience, I worked in a pizza place just after I turned 17 and was going to college. They will typically work around your schedule and it's a great balance with school because they need the most employees on evenings and weekends. After working in the restaurant industry for many years, I think the pizza places were the most fun. They seem to be much more laid-back than many of the other chains out there, and you can get good transferrable skills like customer service, multi-line phones, etc. Most all pizza places in my area have younger girls (called "phone girls" around here...) who spend most of their time answering the phones and doing things like greeting guests and topping pizzas sometimes. It's enough of a variety to keep from getting bored, and it's generally quickly-paced enough that the night goes quickly, but it's low-responsibility enough that you don't stress out while you are working. I had a ton of fun! Whatever you decide to do, good luck!

Global Domains International Inc - GDI .ws

I have joined Global Domains International Inc since 2008 and it has never missed a single commission payment. GDI domain website and hosting service is a quality product which I encounter minimum downtime since day one of using GDI service. With real products and a legitimate pay plan, Global Domains International is certainly the real McCoy and not another fly-by-night scam.

The Best Way to Market Global Domains International

For promoting GDI as a business opportunity, I found out that the best way to market Global Domains International is to use a Feeder site or Builder site.

As GDI has been around for quite a while, there are a lot of affiliates promoting Global Domains International using the company standard recruiting pages. Athough these pages are very professionally done but because too many people are using them, they lose the "wow" factor in marketing as the prospects have seem them before.

As there are several thousands of Global Domains International affiliates, many of them come up with their own GDI Builder sites. Most of these builder sites are free to join and some required you to be in the owners Global Domains International downline before your can use the sites.

Look through the healthcare sections of your local newspapers. More than likely the only places the hire MA's are doctors offices. You could also hop online and searc "medical assistant NJ" or "Medical assistant jobs NJ". If you get too many hits, you can narrow it down to county or a few cities. Good luck!

Where to look for a job in a photographic studio for students to get more experience?

I am a first year photography student and I would like to find a job in a studio to learn more and get more hands on work. Until now no much luck. Help me please.
Where to look for a job in a photographic studio for students to get more experience?
Hi,

I'm a wedding photographer - If you justwant experiece my suggestion is to get some of your work together, get the yellow pages out and go and knock on some doors - If you just want to learn offer to help / lift / shift / carry etc and maybe in return be able t use the studio for some of your coursework. Commercial photographers may provide a better return on your time than weddings (If you want to work saturdaysonly then find a wedding photographer) always bags to be moved and cameras to be set up.

Reply:You will need to approach lots of pretty girls in bars and clubs, spin them that old photography line then offer to set them off on a modelling career with their first portfolio. Worked for me, then again, I have no interest in photography.

Im looking for a babysitting job... how do i find one ?
write up a flyer and drop them off in your neighborhood "on the doors only" (never attached to or in a mail box). Although you need to check if you're allowed to do that in your community, probably if you're just doing your neighborhood (a block or two each way) you could get away without permission because the neighbors know you. Here you'd need to be over 13.
Reply:A lot of grocery stores around here have a free public bulletin board. Post a note there.
Reply:try to advertise on CRAIGSLIST.ORG
Reply:Have your parents tell anyone they know with kids you're available and you tell anyone who has kids too. You can post on craigslist too, but if it's a stranger make sure your parents meet them.
Reply:if you have family friends or relatives that have little ones, ask around, and offer your help.

Are the air force looking for security detail? Is it a availble job?

I am now in the navy dep and i got machinest mate on a submarine but im not interested in that at all and my recruiter told me once i go to basic I can change my job with no problem to Master Arms but i found out thats a lie. So i want to change to the air force for security forces. Is it a over manned job?
Are the air force looking for security detail? Is it a availble job?
Security Forces is ALWAYS under manned. They are the job that if you don't get your dream job, or wash out at Tech School you be forced into. Its a job that is notorious for being on the "Critically Manned" List, any recruiter would be happy to take you on. Also look into the USAF Master Arms equivalent. Being USAF SF will give you an opportunity after a few years to cross-train into SF Dog-Handler.

Remember just because you are in DEP doesn't mean that you are committed to any branch or to any contract, it doesn't become official until your swear in prior to "shipping out". Contact your local AF recruiter (should be same building) and also let your Navy recruiter know so that he doesn't feel jerked over.
Reply:Talk to an Air Force recruiter. In general, the Air Force is always "hiring" for Security Forces.
Reply:The Air Force can always use more security, but I hear its a boring job. Do some research and look at optoins.

Im 15 years old and im looking for a job. Where can I get hired? Do I need a work permit? Where do I get one?
depends where you live...try a grocery store.
Reply:Here's a short list of jobs which you can create to generate income without any age restriction:

1. Learn calligraphy so that you can provide handwritten invitations and thank you notes to prospective wedding parties, birthday celebrations, etc. Seek out clients through wedding planners at nearby churches and temples. A starter calligraphy kit usually runs around $20 and anyone can easily pick up this skill. The going rate is usually $1 per hand addressed item.

2. Become a "poser" who assists wedding photographers in setting and arranging various individuals in group and single photographic positions. "Posers" carry around a sketch book of various sitting and standing poses which consists of onion skin overlays of various wedding pictures bound in albums. Again, contact local wedding photographers and wedding planners, accordingly. The hourly pay is around $10-$12 per hour and you are often invited to attend all dining activities.

3. Seek from your neighbors a gardner position which involves planting, weed removal, plant/tree trimming, light brush clearance. You will be using the neighbor's equipment and tools. Again, do not represent yourself as a lawn mower since there are any number of safety issues involved. A door-to-door solicitation of surrounding neighbors is required and you can charge between $6 to $9 per hour.

4. Offer policing/removal or clearance of trash services to surrounding neighbors which involve trash pickup within nearby residential area. Limit the extent of pickup to small areas and be aware that there are no hazardous terrain or elements involved in this process. Again, a door-to-door solicitation of neighbors is in order. You can charge between $6.75 to $7.50 per hour.

5. Acquire a set of window cleaning tools [a bucket, liquid window cleaner, sponge, squeegee, handle with an extension and a small step ladder] and solicit local businesses for your window cleaning services. However, be careful to limit the height of the window cleaning to no higher than one story. Charge $1 per window panel.

6. Become a proxy/stand-in for neighbors to allow delivery of goods and packages to your home/apartment. Acquire the authority to sign any receipt of incoming packages as an accepting neighbor. Charge $1 per each package handled by you.

7. Consider becoming a restaurant-cafe customer liaison by using your cell phone at restaurants-cafes to coordinate with the hostess to keep track of waiting customers. Whenever there's a very long period of time to activate a waiting list, you want to offer the restaurant your services so that customers do not have to stand around for any lengthy period of time. And when their name/assigned number comes up; you can call the upcoming customer's cell phone to tell them that they can return to the restaurant and be served. The call back fee is usually around $0.50 cents on a per head basis. For example, a couple would be charged $1.00 while children under 6 would not be charged. Placement of a plaque which outlines your fee schedule near the hostess station is sufficient to garner attention of prospective customers who will value your services since they can do other activities outside of the restaurant -- often beyond the range of any inhouse paging system. You realize that everyone has a cellphone and why not take advantage of the connectivity to make the diner's experience worthwhile. The restaurant will also appreciate the added service you are providing as a customer liaison.

8. Why not become a paid feeder servicing the disabled at nearby nursing, convalescent, assisted living/care centers and hospitals. It involves feeding food to patients who are unable to feed themselves. The starting rate is $8.00 per hour. The only downside is that one has to take precautions to wash one's hands after each feeding. A posting of your services [by a business card or flyer] on a reviewable bulletin board would be enough to generate customers. The paid feeder position is one of the fastest growing occupation at this time.

Good luck!
