I work through a temp agency for about 4 months. yesterday the temp agency called me, and they told me that my boss called and told them that my last day is friday. She said that is because there doing remodelations and theres not enough space. I work in a hospital/ medical records. The agency told me they dont know if its temporary or for good. What should I do..???

Your temp agency should be trying to find you a new assignment. In the meantime, see if you qualify for unemployment. If you liked the job, make sure your boss knows you would like to come back if/when the position re-opens....they may be able to hire you back as a permanent employee.
Reply:Yes you can seek unemployment. Ask your agency to find you another assignment. If they ask you to not work and wait for the hospital to be ready to take you back, that is wrong. If they don't seem to want to work with you, go to another agency!
