Where to look for a job in a photographic studio for students to get more experience?

I am a first year photography student and I would like to find a job in a studio to learn more and get more hands on work. Until now no much luck. Help me please.

Hi,

I'm a wedding photographer - If you justwant experiece my suggestion is to get some of your work together, get the yellow pages out and go and knock on some doors - If you just want to learn offer to help / lift / shift / carry etc and maybe in return be able t use the studio for some of your coursework. Commercial photographers may provide a better return on your time than weddings (If you want to work saturdaysonly then find a wedding photographer) always bags to be moved and cameras to be set up.

Reply:You may not get a chance or unless you do your own buisness. People make plent of money doing photographt but problem is they dont get many customers. buy or rent a place and get a camera but ask a real photographer about what they do also what sort of camera u need. vote me best answer please xxx
Reply:You will need to approach lots of pretty girls in bars and clubs, spin them that old photography line then offer to set them off on a modelling career with their first portfolio. Worked for me, then again, I have no interest in photography.
Reply:If I were you I would telephone all the photographic studios in your are showing how keen you are. They may request your cv, which is a good sign try it
