Don't hesitate to try all the doctors' offices, hospitals and medical insurance companies. There is stability in taking a job there. Just get your foot in the door and they have constant job openings. Once you have been there 6 months you can transfer to a different position. Consider medical billing, coding, or working in the insurance division. Many hospitals are connected with doctors' offices as well so don't think you would be sitting in an office with ill patients coming through. There are often connected with offices in all the medical fields and they are looking for people who are energetic and are willing to learn and advance in their position. Some will offer you grant money to further your education while you are working.


In a large faced paced area you should do well.
Reply:Try a temp agency. They have clerical work that you can do for a short period of time, and sometimes you can get to stay longer if the company that hires you likes your work.





There should be some in Brooklyn, and they can probably help you find what you're looking for.
