i really want and need a job. i just turned 16 in November and i've applied at 4 places so far. none of them have called me back. i called them and asked about my applications and they make up excuses for why they haven't called back. i really want a job in retail. any suggestions on getting a job at the mall??also what are my chances of getting a job with NO prior experience?

It is difficult to find a job in the mall without prior experience. Maybe get a job out of retail first and then once you have work experience try again. I know it sucks. My friend is 16 too and has applied to about 11 places and still can't get a job.
Reply:honey check you local malls website it will tell you who's hiring,if you checked in november it was probably too late considering they were done hiring for christmas help, check walmart,kmart, supermarkert, marshalls,tj maxx,aj wright, always hire 16 y/o,old navy hires 16 y/o,
go to snagajob.com they aim @ hiring 16 y/o they have alot of retail jobs for you
